Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) is seeking to procure Simplifi 797 and Simplifi+ MedStorage or Equal for the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center.

This acquisition aims to ensure compliance with the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) standards for pharmaceutical compounding and medication storage, which are critical for patient safety and quality of care.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a subscription for Simplifi 797 w/CriticalPoint, USP 800, USP 795, Compounding Module, and Simplifi+MedStorage or Equal.

The system must be user-friendly and facilitate ongoing compliance with training, procedures, and documentation essential for patient safety. Key tasks include:
1. Providing online access to a web-based application that meets USP standards.
2. Documenting and reporting on compliance and training for pharmacy inspectors.
3. Offering ACPE-accredited sterile compounding training continuing education up to 33 hours for pharmacy staff.
4. Customizing a quality assurance plan including policies and procedures specific to the GVSMVAMC Pharmacy Department.
5. Providing real-time alerts on compliance risks at both facility and system levels.
6. Implementing Simplifi+MedStorage or Equal as a single sign-on platform to track tasks and documents required for unit inspections using customizable automated checklists in a mobile-friendly format.

Period of Performance
Base Period: December 1, 2024 – November 30, 2025; Option Periods extend from December 1, 2025 through November 30, 2029.
