Silver Lake Restroom Roof Replacement

Background
The USDA Forest Service, Region 4, is issuing this contract for the Silver Lake Restroom Roof Replacement project. The mission of the agency is to manage and protect the nation's forests and grasslands. This contract aims to replace the damaged timber framed roof structure of the Silver Lake restroom, which was affected by winter conditions in 2023.

Work Details
The project involves the complete removal and replacement of the existing roof framing of the Silver Lake restroom. Specific tasks include:
- Removal of existing roof framing
- Protection of all existing amenities in place
- Disconnecting, salvaging, and reinstalling all ceiling-mounted electrical systems
- Reconstruction of the roof as per provided plans and specifications. The work must ensure a new water-tight roof structure and includes all operations within 10 feet of the building perimeter. Key specifications include:

This opportunity is set aside for small businesses (Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA)). Bidders must provide performance and payment bonds as required. Contractors are responsible for ensuring public safety during construction and must provide temporary toilet facilities for public use during the project.
