STATEMENT OF WORK
1. Objective/Requirements
The Siemens brand Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Software is essential because the software functionality exceeds current capabilities of and provides model interoperability and validation capabilities not present in the design software used by NE. The software is
completely compatible and interacts with design software used by NE. Model simplifications capabilities provided by this software have been tested and demonstrated significant workflow time savings based on model repair, model data space reduction,
model import and conversion, and model validation. This brand software is required because only Siemens will provide the subscription licenses and the support required.
