This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with

the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, using Simplified Acquisition

Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted to SAM Beta (https://beta.sam.gov/).

The RFQ number is N6449820R4018. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2020-04 and DFARS Publication Notice 20200408. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: https://www.acquisition.gov/far/.

The NAICS code is 334210 and the Small Business Standard is 1,250 employees. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns.

The proposed contract action is for a brand name only. The brand name is Siemens/RuggedCom. The model number of the product(s) are listed in the solicitation. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification or documentation is attached.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing Siemens/RuggedCom networking switching equipment as outlined in the solicitation.

The ordering period is the date of award through 60 months thereafter. Delivery Location is Philadelphia, PA.

Quoters shall include a completed copy of 52.212-3 and its ALT I with quotes. All clauses shall be incorporated by reference in the order.
