Background
Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is a US Navy regional industrial center responsible for maintaining, overhauling, and repairing various vessels of the US Navy. The facility provides a wide range of services and resources located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, supporting SSN 688 and 774 class submarines, surface vessels, and shore-based activities in the Pacific.

This solicitation is aimed at identifying parties capable of providing preventative maintenance services for Siemens equipment as outlined in the Performance Work Statement.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide a Siemens Industry, Inc. manufacturer-trained and certified technician to perform the following tasks:
1) Preventive Maintenance and Repair: Conduct preventive maintenance and repair or replacement of parts for specified equipment including Phillips Shaft Lathe, RD&D Shaft Lathe, Barnes Sleeve Honer, Danobat Grinder, and their controllers.
2) Training: Provide a 2-day maintenance workshop on-site.
3) Documentation: Submit a comprehensive inspection and service report detailing all work performed and parts replaced.

Additional requirements include: On-Site Preventative Maintenance Inspection, Priority Tech Support, Priority On-Site Field Service, Motor Repair, Express Shipping, Component Preventative Maintenance; creation of complete system backups prior to and after hardware configuration changes; remedial repairs as identified; issuance of new parts for remedial repairs; ensuring all work is performed by factory-trained technicians with a one-year warranty on completed work; submission of inspection reports within one week post-service detailing work performed; removal and disposal of replacement parts to PHNSY & IMF; compliance with hazardous waste disposal guidelines.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a twelve (12) month base period with an option for one additional twelve (12) month period if exercised.

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Bidder Requirements
The Contractor must be an authorized Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) trained and certified technician. All work must be performed by U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals only. Contractors must provide proof of citizenship upon request. Personnel must wear visible identification at all times while on-site. Compliance with security requirements for unescorted access to controlled areas is mandatory.
