Shredding Services

Background
The Department of Homeland Security, specifically the United States Coast Guard (USCG), is seeking a contract for shredding services at USCG Base Cape Cod. This base serves as a central hub for operations in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The contract aims to ensure proper disposal of sensitive documents due to the high volume of demands at the base, and it is intended to be maintained throughout 2025.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide trained and qualified personnel along with any necessary special tools or equipment, including satellite equipment, to complete work tasks as issued. The scope includes servicing 19 64-gallon totes and 6 32-gallon consoles located at various buildings on the base.

The vendor will dispose of documents collected onboard Base Cape Cod on a four-week basis during weekday hours from 0800 to 1500. All documents must be destroyed according to NAID AAA standards unless otherwise specified. Contractor personnel must comply with all applicable government regulations and maintain professional conduct while on site. Key personnel must be approved by the government before any replacements are made, and all contractor employees must wear identification badges displaying their name, photo, clearance level, and expiration date.

The contract will be performed throughout the year 2025.
