Shred Services at 1040 Waverly Avenue, Holtsville, NY 11742

Background
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires on-site document destruction services at the Brookhaven Service Campus located at 1040 Waverly Avenue, Holtsville, NY 11742. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure the secure destruction of documents containing Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Federal Tax Information (FTI), and other sensitive information in accordance with applicable federal laws, regulations, and IRS security requirements.

This is a 100% small business set aside.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, vehicles, transportation, and materials necessary to perform secure on-site shredding services for the IRS Brookhaven Service Campus. All shredding shall be performed on-site using mobile shredding equipment. Removal of unshredded IRS documents from the facility is strictly prohibited.

The Contractor shall:
- Provide approximately 165 secure 95-gallon collection bins throughout the facility;
- Perform shredding services once each week during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated with the IRS POC;
- Empty approximately 6 to 25 designated bins and destroy contents on-site at the time of service;
- Ensure all material is rendered unreadable and incapable of reconstruction;
- Replace damaged, broken, or non-functional bins at no additional cost.

The Contractor must provide trained personnel experienced in handling sensitive information and ensure compliance with IRS security requirements while on Government property.

Base year from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, with four option years extending through September 30, 2031.
