Work Details
The Contractor shall deliver a Short-Wave Infrared Radiation Open-Top Sample Digestion System that meets the following technical requirements:
- **Digestion Unit**: A primary multi-channel open-air digestion block (10 to 20 channels) designed for operation inside a laboratory chemical fume hood, verified for fit and safety under minimum exhaust specifications.

- **System Controller**: A digital controller unit with integrated software for multi-step digestion programming, accessible via tablet, laptop, or desktop.

- **Digestion Method**: Utilizes focused short-wave infrared radiation to energize sample particles, with an upper cooling zone to prevent volatile element escape.

- **External Recirculating Chiller**: Fully compatible chiller with a temperature range of -5°C to 25°C, minimum cooling capacity of 300W @ 20°C, pump flow rate of 10 - 20 L/min, and reservoir volume of 3 - 5 Liters.

- **Starter Accessory Kit**: Includes two test tube racks/stands, two transfer trays, compatible digestion tubes (hydrofluoric acid resistant), and one spare short-wave infrared heating lamp (minimum 4,000-hour runtime).

- **Electrical Supply**: Compatible with dedicated single-phase 208–240V AC, 50/60 Hz, 30 Amp power source; includes appropriate power cables and plug configurations.

- **Regulatory Compliance**: Equipment must carry official CE and/or CSA safety inspections and certifications.
