DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project will renourish shoreline in Duval County between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Range Monuments R-31 in the north to R-80 in the south. The fill template is located within the municipalities of Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, and Jacksonville Beach and the southern limit is the border between Duval County and St. Johns County. The project includes construction of both a dune and beach berm. The sand for the project will be sourced from an offshore borrow area. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, beach tilling, vibration control and monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and turbidity monitoring. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 17 October 2023 and bids will be due on or about 16 November 2023. NAICS Code 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. The Small Business Standard is $37 million. The Magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000.00 and 30,000,000.00. The period of performance associated with this requirement is: 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED REQUIREMENT. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Sam.gov website at https://sam.gov/. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the Sam.gov website at https://sam.gov/.
