Please note, the Anti-terrorism/Operation Security (AT-OPSEC) portion of the PWS is still in review; however, all other aspects of the solicitation are final. The PWS and this notice will be updated to reflect AT-OPSEC requirements once available, but before the close of the solicitation.

The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to add the following note to the combined synopsis:

Background
The National Guard Bureau is issuing a solicitation for Shop Towel Rental and Laundering Services. This contract aims to provide essential services to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency in automotive maintenance environments. The goal is to ensure that shop towels are readily available, clean, and in good condition for use by personnel.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, delivery, and labor necessary to supply, launder, and exchange shop towels. Specific requirements include:

1. Purchasing all service items including shop towels that are a minimum of 12” x 12” and a maximum of 20” x 20”, made of absorbent material suitable for cleaning grease, oil, and solvents.

2. Providing an initial inventory of either 1,000 or 500 shop towels within 30 days of contract award based on the delivery frequency determined at award.

3. Ensuring all towels are clean, dry, free from excessive grease or debris, retaining their original shape without strong odors or damage. Minor discoloration is acceptable but unserviceable towels must be replaced to maintain inventory levels.

4. Pickup and delivery of shop towels on a weekly (for 500 towels) or biweekly (for 1000 towels) basis between Tuesday and Thursday during specified hours.

5. Handling all aspects of towel logistics including loading/unloading during pickups and deliveries.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the National Guard Bureau's facility located at Camp Fogarty, Building 235, East Greenwich, RI.
