The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis. It does not constitute a solicitation for bid or quotes, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government.

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a noncompetitive sole source firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit from Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation/Northrop Grumman Marine Systems for the materials for the repair and overhaul of the Ship Service Turbine Generators (SSTGs) onboard three Virginia Class Submarines.

In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-22-R-0010 was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), sam.gov from 13 May 2022 to 18 May 2022 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received zero responses from interested vendors. The Government received no other responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirements. This presolicitation notification does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

This posting serves as a presolicitation notice in association with N32253-22-R-0010 and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204.
