Shiprock Service Unit: PIV Access Control System   2

Background
The Shiprock Service Unit (SRSU) is the largest geographical service unit of the Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), serving populations in New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. The SRSU oversees one hospital, the Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC), and two health centers: Four Corners Regional Health Center (FCRHC) and Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center (DZHC). NNMC is a 60-bed medical center that provides a wide range of primary and specialty care services.

The goal of this contract is to replace outdated Personal Identification Verification (PIV) Card Access Control Systems at these facilities to enhance security and operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide and install new PIV Card Access Control Systems at three locations: Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, NM; Four Corners Regional Health Center in Teec Nos Pos, AZ; and Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center in Bloomfield, NM. The scope includes:

1. Removal of existing proxy card access devices which are outdated and non-functional.
2. Installation of new PIV card access systems, including all necessary equipment such as installation kits, conduit, track support systems, mounts, card readers, door locks, etc.
3. Configuration of server rooms and electrical connections as required for the new systems.
4. Provision of all supervision, labor, parts, materials, tools, supplies, equipment maintenance, ground transportation, waste removal, and service upon removal and installation.
5. Warranty on all services performed for one year post-installation.
