SOLICITATION: The purpose of this update is to release the official Request for Proposal N00024-20-R-5602 for Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) Technical Insertion 2016 (TI-16) Hardware Production and Engineering Services.

Offerors are notified that the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 10.0 is hereby issuing a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP). The requirement includes tactical shore site material, hardware production, assembly, configuration, integration, test, packaging and shipment of the SSDS system hardware. Engineering services scope includes production problem identification and resolution, support of diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages, repairs, engineering changes, and production status reporting.

Section J attachments and GFI are provided via the NSERC Bidder's Library. All potential offerors seeking access to the NSERC Bidder's Library in order to obtain the Section J attachments and GFI must follow the instructions outlined in Attachment J-15. Potential offerors who have already requested access under the pre-solicitation announcement do not need to submit another request.

All questions should be received within twenty (20) calendar days after receipt of RFP to allow the Government adequate time to prepare and issue responses to all offerors prior to the proposal due date. Unclassified questions and comments should be electronically submitted using the format provided in Attachment J-12 to Patti Pace (patricia.pace@navy.mil) and Stacy Crisman (stacy.crisman1@navy.mil). Any questions or comments that are submitted may be publically released. All questions shall be submitted in accordance with the instructions found in Section L of the solicitation.
