SFS Ballistic Glass

Background
The contract is issued by the United States Air Force, specifically for the Security Forces at Offutt Air Force Base. The mission of this contract is to enhance security measures by replacing existing windows with bullet-resistant glass at the USSTRATCOM gate, ensuring safety and operational integrity during day and night operations.

Work Details
The contractor is required to replace 13 windows with bullet-resistant glass that meets UL752 level 8 standards. The specifications include:
- Glass must be 2 inches thick and made of Solar Cooled gray reflective material.
- The glazing must limit visibility into the facility while allowing views out during both day and night operations, in accordance with UFC 4-023-07.
- Existing window frames will be reused.
- The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or non-personal services necessary for the completion of the task as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from July 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Offutt Air Force Base, specifically at the Security Forces facility located at 198 Butler Blvd BLDG 160, Offutt AFB, NE 68113.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet specific requirements including:
- Must be a small business or a women-owned small business (WOSB).
- Must comply with all applicable security clearances and licensing requirements relevant to the installation of ballistic glass.
