PRESOLICITATION NOTICE POSTED 4/11/2018
Replace sewer pipe/line (exterior) at the Fairbanks, Alaska Federal Building
FAR 52.216-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set Aside, is applicable to this solicitation.
The Magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000
The Solicitation will be posted approximately April 30, 2018.

Solicitation Package posted to Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov) 4/30/2018.

This is a construction project to replace sewer pipe at the Fairbanks, Alaska Federal Building.

A Price Proposal and Technical Proposal is required with offers. See pages 6-9 of Solicitation document for price and technical proposal requirements.

A Site Visit is scheduled for May 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM. See page 6 of Solicitation document for more information. Attendees are required to submit email to the Contracting Officer (amy.heusser@gsa.gov) by 3:00 PM on May 15, 2018 with names of all attendees for their firm.

Sensitive But Unclassified documents, as referenced in the Scope of Work - Attachments, can be obtained from the Contracting Officer. See Item III N page 7 and III P pages 12-14 of the Agreement. To request SBU documents, Offerors must submit a written request (via email) to the Contracting Officer (amy.heusser@gsa.gov). The request must include the Offeror's DUNs number and Offeror must be registered as "active" in the Government's System for Award Management (SAM) data base. The Offeror's request for SBU must include a statement that they have read and understand the Agreement Section III N, Paragraph 7, titled "Safeguarding and Dissemination of Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) Building Information" and will comply with the SBU requirements as indicated in the Agreement.

Questions concerning this solicitation are to be sent in writing to the Contracting Officer (only) - amy.heusser@gsa.gov. The cut off date for questions is May 24, 2018 at 3:00 PM.

FAR 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee is applicable

FAR 52.228-15 Performance and Payment Bonds is applicable.

Liquidated Damages are not applicable to the contract resulting from this solicitation.

US Department of Labor, Construction Wage Determination is applicable.
Proposals with bid guarantee are due June 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM, Alaska Time; deliver to the Contracting Officer as stated on the SF1442 and Solicitation document.
