Sewage Treatment Plant Maintenance for RCF New Orleans for USCG   4

Background
The United States Coast Guard is seeking qualified individuals or firms to manage all aspects of the wastewater treatment plant at the Remote Communications Facility (RCF) in New Orleans, located at 4023 Main St., Belle Chasse, LA.

The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding wastewater treatment, as the current facilities manager does not hold the necessary licenses. The contractor will be responsible for operating the facility in accordance with applicable laws and requirements.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation, personnel, and supervision to manage the wastewater treatment plant. Responsibilities include:

- Conducting routine compliance sampling/reporting inspections;
- Preventative maintenance;
- Preparation and submission of electronic Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMR);
- Operating the facility in compliance with Louisiana Wastewater Treatment Facility Operations laws;
- Performing routine maintenance and repair of equipment;
- Supplying consumables;
- Ensuring safety on-site;
- Reporting accidents;
- Managing waste disposal in accordance with environmental regulations;
- Maintaining communication with Coast Guard representatives.

Specific tasks include routine visits for monitoring and maintenance, analytical testing as per EPA protocols, and providing general regulatory assistance.
