Sewage Lateral Line Repair

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay in Newport, Oregon requires a contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure the sewer lateral repair at the station. The contractor must perform to the standards outlined in the Scope of Work (SOW) contract. The period of performance for this contract is from the start work within 3 days of award and finish by 4 Aug 2023.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for various tasks related to the repair of the sewer lateral line at USCG Station Yaquina Bay. This includes removing natural vegetation, vacuuming or removing standing sewage from the lateral line, scoping and locating collapsed/clogged sections of the lateral line, verifying depth and excavating or hydrovacing to gain access to damaged lateral line, repairing damaged/clogged lateral line, descaling and de-rooting both upper and lower sections of the lateral line, installing a 2-way cleanout, backfilling and compacting hillside, and repairing/replacing riprap wall as necessary. All work must be performed in a workmanship like manner utilizing OSHA Safety and Health Standards.
Additionally, photographs taken of the inside of the lateral line are included in Attachment 1 of this SOW.
The contractor shall also follow an Inadvertent Discovery Plan for Cultural Resources as outlined in Attachment 2.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from the start work within 3 days of award and finish by 4 Aug 2023.

The place of performance for this contract is USCG Station Yaquina Bay located at 925 SW Naterlin Dr, Newport, OR 97365.
