Seven Time Chartered Tugs (Kings Bay, GA & Mayport, FL)   3

Background
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is seeking to charter seven (7) time-chartered tugs to support operations in Kings Bay, GA, and Mayport, FL. The goal of this contract is to provide harbor support services and ship handling in these regions, ensuring compliance with U.S. flag and Jones Act requirements.

Work Details
The contractor will provide seven continuously time-chartered tractor-like tugs: three in Kings Bay, GA, and three in Mayport, FL, with one additional tug that can operate between the two locations. The services include:

- Towing
- Twisting
- Mooring
- Berthing
- Docking
- Streaming
- Shifting
- Assisting various vessel types
- Emergency support services
- Line handling
- Personnel transfers
- Providing adequate staff for 24/7 response to government requests.

The contractor must also supply dockage and hotel services at both ports, including utilities and parking for contractor vehicles. The tugs will be home berthed at the assigned locations and must remain on-site 24/7 when not on mission.

Period of Performance
The contract will have one firm period along with four option periods totaling up to 59 months.

The primary locations for performance are Kings Bay, GA, and Mayport, FL.
