Opportunity 1: Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance to Integrated Fires Rapid Capabilities Office at PEO Missiles and Space

Purchase Agency: Integrated Fires Rapid Capabilities Office (IFRCO) at Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS)

Why they're purchasing: The IFRCO's mission is to deliver integrated fires capability to the US Army and Joint Warfighting Community. They aim to lead, plan, coordinate, synchronize the requirements allocation, development, testing, and fielding of integrated offensive and defensive fires capabilities.

Work to be acquired: The contractor will provide systems engineering and technical assistance support in the areas of technical, logistics, and program management. This includes contract management, project management support, system engineering support, test and evaluation support, logistics support, business management support, international office support, system assurance (SA) support, and cybersecurity support.

Timeframe of the acquisition: The period of performance will be for a base year with four 12-month option years.

Place of performance/delivery: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama

Notable information: The IFRCO was formed as a result of a realignment within PEO MS to better align with the National Defense Strategy. The tasks in this opportunity primarily focus on IFRCO activities but may also be utilized to support transition programs to PEO MS. The contractor will need to establish clear organizational lines of authority and responsibility and have key personnel in place at the start of the contract. They will also need to comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as security requirements.
