Services to analyze and produce advanced technology software solutions for Required Navigation Performance Area capability to CMV/MV-22 Osprey

General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) Region 7, Fort Worth, TX intends to negotiate a sole source, non-commercial, Cost plus fixed fee contract with Raytheon Company, (CAGE 072E5). This is a sole source requirement authorized by FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contract will have a three year base period for services to produce software for integration of a Government Furnished Information (GFI) Flight Management Function (FMF) application software suite, which includes the Transport Services Segment (TSS), to achieve certification of Required Navigation Performance Area Navigation (RNP RNAV) capability for the United States Navy (USN) CMV/MV-22 Osprey Aircraft, with CMV-22 as the lead platform for this effort. The purpose of this contract is to analyze, produce, and integrate advanced technology software solutions in an effort to add capability and improve performance of the CMV/MV-22 system.

The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 541519 with a Small Business size standard of $27.5M.

This notice of intent neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict Government to a particular acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as commitment by the Government for any purpose. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. The Government will consider all responses from capable interested offerors received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any information submitted to his synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted to this notice of proposed contract action. All documentation shall become the property of the Government.
