Service Order Desk Contract

Background
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Carson (MICC-FC) is seeking qualified, experienced sources capable of operating the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Service Order Desk on Fort Carson, Colorado.

The Service Order Desk serves as a consolidated customer service desk and centralized dispatch center for receiving requests for repair and maintenance service orders from Fort Carson occupants. The goal of the contract is to ensure efficient processing and management of service work orders in support of the DPW at Fort Carson, which is home to several military units including the 4th Infantry Division and the 10th Special Forces Group.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to operate the DPW Service Order Desk (SOD). Key tasks include:
1. Operating the SOD twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, including Federal Holidays;
2. Reviewing requests for repair and maintenance services to determine proper classification and priority;
3. Initiating service orders into the Army Maintenance Application (ArMA) and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS);
4. Notifying appropriate service providers of service needs;
5. Providing feedback and status updates to customers regarding their requests;
6. Maintaining documentation in ArMA and GFEBS;
7. Establishing a contingency plan for continuous operations during employee absences or strikes;
8. Ensuring all personnel are trained in GFEBS roles prior to performing services;
9. Preparing a transition plan for mobilization of workforce without delays in service delivery.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be for one base year of twelve months with four option years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed on Fort Carson Military Installation, Fort Carson, Colorado, United States.
