Service/maintenance agreement for Avantik Tissue Processors, Microtomes, Embedding Centers, and Cryostats

Background
The CMPB Histology core and Laser Microdissection Laboratories require a renewal of the service agreement for maintenance and repairs of tissue processors, microtomes, embedding centers, and cryostat equipment. This equipment is essential for supporting DIR and DTT labs to complete projects efficiently.

The Service Agreement encompasses two preventative maintenance visits annually, including all labor, application support, parts, and travel. It also provides technical support via phone, email, and web, ensuring 100% service labor and travel coverage along with OEM replacement repair parts.

Work Details
The contract includes a minimum of two preventative maintenance inspections per year conducted by a factory-trained field service technician. Services cover repairs and preventative maintenance of the system and computer hardware, software upgrades, and instrument upgrades.

Tasks include inspection and examination of all functioning parts, thorough cleaning, lubrication, replacement or repair of worn parts, adjustment and calibration to maintain instruments to original specifications. Complete dismantling, parts replacement, reassembly, testing, and adjusting are included as necessary. Emergency repair services are provided on an unlimited basis at no additional cost during the contract term. All required replacement parts must be new and meet original equipment specifications.

Period of Performance
This preventive maintenance agreement will cover one base year from 2026 to 2027.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the CMPB Histology core and Laser Microdissection Laboratories.

Bidder Requirements
The contractor must provide factory-trained field service engineers for all maintenance tasks. There are no specific licensing or certification requirements mentioned in the solicitation.
