Background
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking a contractor to provide bottled drinking water services on their Main Campus located at 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.

This solicitation aims to establish a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the rental of bottled water coolers and associated services to ensure access to drinking water when potable water systems are unavailable.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
1. Provide rental bottled water coolers with a NO SPILL SYSTEM, including hot water dispenser features and cup dispensers, compliant with NIH requirements.
2. Supply cone-shaped paper cups suitable for the coolers in patient areas.
3. Deliver bottled water and cups to each cooler Monday through Friday between 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., adjusting for Federal holidays as necessary.
4. Clean and disinfect each cooler's holding tank and spill tray every thirty days, ensuring compliance with International Bottled Water Association standards. A cleaning report must be submitted monthly by the 10th, detailing the locations serviced.
5. Install new bottled water if coolers are empty or place bottles next to coolers if installation is not required, while also picking up empty bottles during deliveries.
6. Maintain an adequate backup supply of bottled water at all cooler locations throughout the contract period.
7. Respond to requests for additional coolers or services within twenty-four hours, except on Fridays or preceding Federal holidays.
8. Document all service requests monthly, including calls for additional supplies or cleaning services.
