Septic Services at Point Marion Locks and Dam   2

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, is issuing this contract for septic services at the Point Marion Lock and Dam project located on the Monongahela River in Dilliner, PA.

The mission of this contract is to ensure proper sanitation management through the pumping and cleaning of a septic holding tank, which is essential for maintaining environmental standards and operational efficiency at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, supplies, labor, and incidentals necessary to pump and clean the septic holding tank at the Point Marion Lock and Dam project.

The specific tasks include:
- Pumping out the septic holding tank that holds 2000 gallons of sewage;
- Removing and disposing of all effluent and debris in compliance with state and federal regulations;
- Performing pumping services once every 28 days (totaling 13 times per year);
- Including 10 additional services on an as-needed basis;
- Ensuring that the holding tank is pumped dry with less than one inch of effluent remaining;
- Preventing spillage during pumping and hauling;
- Obtaining necessary permits for waste disposal;
- Cleaning up any spillage on surrounding soil after service completion.

The contractor must also provide a yearly service schedule within 10 business days post-award.

Period of Performance
The base contract period is from March 16, 2026, to March 15, 2027, with options for four additional years extending through March 15, 2031.
