Background
Argonne National Laboratory is seeking to procure a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) for micromechanical testing.
The goal of this contract is to acquire an SEM that will be dedicated for use with a separately purchased micromechanical testing system from Bruker, ensuring compatibility and functionality within the laboratory's research framework.

Work Details
The contract requires the procurement of an SEM that meets the following specifications:
- Must have documented confirmation that the PI89 will fit and be able to be used within the chamber.
- Must include an EDS detector.
- The quotation must also include the cost of an annual service contract.
This equipment is essential for conducting advanced micromechanical testing as outlined in the Statement of Work.
