This is a Full and Open Competition, with a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation. This Contract will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items; and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall provide dumpster/ trash removal services for the Selma Temporary Housing Storage Site (THSS) in Selma, Alabama.

Questions Due Date: All questions shall be submitted electronically no later than May 1, 2025, 11AM Eastern Time (ET), to the Contracting Officer Ejona Lika at ejona.lika@fema.dhs.gov and the Contract Specialist David Bailey Jr. at david.baileyjr@fema.dhs.gov.

Background
The Selma Temporary Housing Storage Site (THSS), located at 661 Selfield Rd in Selma, Alabama, requires regular dumpster services to remove trash and debris. This is essential for maintaining safe and healthy working conditions for employees engaged in daily operational duties.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following services:

1. Four (4) 8 Yard Dumpsters, including one dump per week, hauling, rental, and disposal fees. The estimated weekly disposal tonnage is up to 1 ton, with a required depth of 7 feet.

2. One (1) 40 Yard Open Top Dumpster, including one dump per month, hauling, rental, and disposal fees. The estimated monthly disposal tonnage is up to 10 tons, with a required depth of 8 feet.

3. One (1) additional 40 Yard Open Top Dumpster for 'on-call' service if more than one dump per month is needed, with a turnaround time for pickup within 48 hours. This service also includes hauling, rental, and disposal fees.

Period of Performance
Base period from April 29, 2025 to April 28, 2026; with option periods extending from April 29, 2026 to April 28, 2030.
