Description

Work for this project will occur on Annex Compound and the U.S. Embassy compound. The contractor must visit the site in order to verify the requirements prior to the project start date.

The Contractor shall prepare a detailed quotation of the upgrades they plan to complete and the cost of the materials and labor to conclude the project. The Contractor shall provide the quotation (in English) to the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (RSO COR) for review as soon as the Task Order has been issued. The Contracting Officer and RSO COR must approve these general instructions before the work is performed.

The Contractor shall complete all work and provide labor and materials required for all the named security upgrades.

A qualified construction and technical Contractor must perform all work.

Background
The Regional Security Office of the U.S. Embassy requests bids for upgrades to the Annex Compound and the U.S. Embassy compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The work will consist of, but is not limited to, security upgrades for various buildings and structures within the compounds. A qualified construction and technical Contractor must perform all work.

Work Details
The work includes reinforcing doors and windows, automating gates, purchasing and installing guard towers, and providing labor and materials required for all the named security upgrades. The Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating and supervising all work to be performed under this project with the Regional Security Office (RSO). The Contractor shall maintain work schedules, submit weekly reports, and ensure quality control. Hazardous and toxic substances must be handled safely, with approval required for all chemicals used for this contract.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a one-time project with a schedule of work to be completed within 15 working days after receiving the Contract.

Work for this project will occur on Annex Compound and the U.S. Embassy compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
