Security Operation Center (SOC) Support

Background
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking to obtain IT services to ensure continuous 24x7x365 mission-critical security for its Computer Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC), Advanced Threats Analysis Cell (ATAC), and Vulnerability Analysis Cell (VAC).

These services are crucial for supporting the infrastructure of the Fraud Analytics and User Behavior Analytics programs, which are essential for the Cybersecurity Services provided by the Security Operations Center (SOC) to protect IRS systems, applications, and data.

The contract will be awarded to General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) under the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) 54151S and 54151HACS.

Work Details
The contractor will provide uninterrupted IT services that include:
- 24x7x365 mission-critical security services for CSIRC, ATAC, and VAC.
- Support for the SOC including threat monitoring and analysis.
- Incident response capabilities.
- Vulnerability management services.
- Various activities across both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure systems, applications, and data.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes one six-month base period followed by two three-month option periods, totaling a maximum duration of one year if all options are exercised.
