Security Guards (Amendment 0001)- Albuquerque Indian Health Center - Albuquerque, NM   2

Background
The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (IHS), part of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is seeking to award a contract for Security Guard services at the Albuquerque Indian Health Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of employees, contractors, visitors, and patients at the facility.

This solicitation is a Total Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) Set-Aside, meaning only quotes from ISBEE vendors will be considered.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, materials, and services to perform security duties including:
- Routine and emergency site security protection and support services for employees, contractors, visitors, and patients.
- Patrol duties, entry control, parking and traffic control, as well as security and fire safety surveillance.
- Maintain a daily log documenting completed scheduled foot-patrol rounds.
- Provide competent, trained, uniformed security officers who are unarmed and do not have arrest authority.
- On-site security services must be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Specific duties include guarding government property from unauthorized access or theft; responding to emergencies; assisting medical personnel; providing traffic control during emergencies; maintaining documentation for incidents; and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from September 01, 2025 through August 30, 2026 for the base year. There are options for renewal for up to four additional years depending on satisfactory performance.
