Security Camera and Installation

Background
The Navy Munitions Command Atlantic (NMCLANT) Detachment Oceana is seeking to enhance security and operational efficiency at their weapons compound located in Virginia Beach, VA. The existing security camera system monitoring the primary entrance is non-operational, leading to significant operational inefficiencies and the need for a redundant manned gate watch.

This contract aims to procure and install a replacement security camera system to eliminate unnecessary manpower usage and improve surveillance capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary supplies, materials, equipment, and labor to deliver and install a complete and fully functional security camera system. Key tasks include:
1. Removal and disposal of the existing non-operable camera.
2. Installation of a new security camera system that utilizes the existing power source from the old installation area.
3. Installation requirements include:
- A 32-inch monitor for 24/7 viewing
- An 8-12 MP fisheye, multi-sensor or analog outdoor camera
- Vandal-resistant housing for camera protection
- An NDAA-compliant IP camera that allows remote operation with adjustable angles
- A Network Video Recorder (NVR) or VMS Server with 4TB storage
- Power over Ethernet (PoE) networking gear
- Necessary cables and connectors
- Specialized mounting hardware for optimal viewing angles
- An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for battery backup.

Period of Performance
All installation services and system testing shall be completed within 30 calendar days of contract award, with a requested completion date no later than May 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at the main gate entrance of the NMCLANT DET Oceana weapons compound for camera installation and at Building 2005, Room 106 for monitoring station setup.
