Security Administrative Support Services

Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the AFMEDCOM/CSS staff, is seeking support in the security department for the USAF/Surgeon General (SG). The goal of this contract is to provide Security Administrative Support Services that align with local procedures and policies as outlined in various Air Force Instructions and Department of Defense directives. This initiative aims to ensure the protection of classified national defense and sensitive information managed by installation activities.

Work Details
The contractor will perform a variety of tasks including:

- Answering questions and processing documents according to local procedures.
- Recommending revisions and updates to maintain local procedures for protecting classified information.
- Providing expertise in local security policies.
- Safeguarding classified documents.
- Coordinating Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearances.
- Maintaining records.
- Providing security compliance guidance to assigned personnel.
- Assisting with documentation for Common Access Cards (CAC).
- Coordinating documentation for security clearances.
- Providing guidance and notifications for personnel in-processing and out-processing.
- Monitoring individual training requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a five-year period of performance, which includes a potential six-month extension. The entire duration shall not exceed 2,008 days, starting from September 30, 2025.
