Secure Server Room in Bldg 4 at PNY, PA   2

Background
The intent of solicitation is for the construction of a secure server room in Building 4 at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center in Philadelphia, PA. This project involves the conversion of a 700 SF office space into a secure server room, in accordance with DoDM 5200.01 Volume 3, applicable UFCs and other government adapted standards. The space will be certified after construction to meet these requirements.

Work Details
This project involves the demolition of existing rooms. New construction includes walls, doors, hard ceilings, new electric, new HVAC, and modification of fire protection features.

The construction of the secure space includes RF shielding materials to eliminate the chance of electronic eavesdropping. The doors to the spaces will be secured with electronic monitoring, as well as specialty locking mechanisms.
