Secure Facility Advisors

Background
This contract justification is issued due to urgent and compelling circumstances that have created a sole source environment. The unexpected decision not to renew the current Interagency Agreement (7600A) has resulted in insufficient time to complete a competitive acquisition by the required date.

This contract aims to ensure that the Government has the necessary lead-time to pursue a competitive follow-on contract and allows for a successful transition period in Fiscal Year 2027.

Work Details
The awarded services include secure facility advisors and construction security technicians (CSTs) who will advise the Government on facility matters, including routine maintenance and improvement projects. Their responsibilities encompass supporting and managing critical information technology, audiovisual, and communications functions performed in secure facilities that must remain operational 24/7/365.

Facility advisors will routinely inspect the facilities and provide recommendations for necessary repairs, improvements, and renovations. Markon, LLC, currently providing these services under the 7600A agreement, has transparent pricing data that assists in conducting price analysis to determine fair and reasonable pricing.
