Secretary of War's Strategic Thinkers Program (STP)   2

The Department of War awarded contract (47QFHA26C0002) for the Secretary of War (SECWAR) Strategic Thinkers Program (STP) Recompete, which provides a master's degree-granting program for mid-career military officers and government civilians. This 12-month Master Degree program is established to develop and produce strategic thinkers for assignment to Combatant Commander staffs, the Joint Staff, and Military Services' Headquarters, in support of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War (DASW) requirements. The Strategic Thinkers Program Base Period is being incrementally funded IAW DFARS 252.232-7007 for an initial amount of $10,123.74 under CLIN 0001. The Government plans to award the additional funds necessary to fully fund the base period within the next 5 to 7 business days due to minor system issues. The parties contemplate that the Government will allot funds to this contract in accordance with the following schedule: On execution of contract $10,123.74. On or about 4/28/2026, $148,332.26, additional funding will be provided to CLIN 0001.
