SDVOSB SET ASIDE - Tree Maintenance Services. Continental District Four(4) Cemeteries: Biloxi, Ft. Gibson, Ft. Sam Houston and Ft. Smith National Cemetery. -- S208

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration intends to award a firm, fixed price contract for the procurement of tree maintenance services. The Contractor(s) gaining award shall provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish tree and/or stump removal, pruning, trimming, cabling, cavity repair, root pruning, and the removal and disposal of resulting waste and debris for the National Cemeteries listed. The standards of maintenance, appearance and operational procedures performed by the Contractor at these cemeteries shall reflect this nation’s concern for those interred there.

Work Details
The work includes tree maintenance services at four cemeteries: Biloxi National Cemetery, Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, and Fort Smith National Cemetery. The services involve large tree removal (over 40 feet in height), large tree trim (over 40 feet in height), medium tree removal (40 feet and under in height), pruning, trimming, cleanup and disposal of waste and debris. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all specifications are being met, work does not conflict with ceremonies and funerals, employees are adequately supervised, and proper conduct is maintained. Additionally, the Contractor must establish a point-of-contact to receive emergency calls from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on a 24-hour basis during weekends, Federal Holidays and after normal hours of operation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be from 8-22-2022 to 10-22-2022.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS; Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK; Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX; and Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR.
