SD HURON WMD - Interpretive Panels, Kiosks and Ent   2

Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is seeking contractors to design and fabricate interpretive panels, kiosks, and entrance information signs for the Huron Wetland Management District (WMD).

This project aims to enhance visitor engagement and education about the natural resources and wildlife in the area. The contract is part of FWS's mission to promote conservation and public awareness of wildlife habitats.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Construct a kiosk that includes five panels and a support structure, adhering to the specifications outlined in the attached Statement of Work.
2. Construct an entrance information sign in accordance with the provided guidelines.
3. Ensure all designs comply with accessibility guidelines as specified in the Interpretive Media Guidance document attached to the SOW.
4. Provide a narrative response demonstrating understanding of service requirements, technical capabilities, and past performance related to similar projects.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on August 21, 2024, and conclude on August 20, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Huron Wetland Management District located in Huron, South Dakota.
