The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is holding an Industry Day for the Screening Partnership Program (SPP).

Description

The Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will host an industry day in support of the SPP Follow-On Procurement. The intent of this industry day is to provide a general overview of the program's direction and goals, to inform industry of the acquisition process and to obtain feedback and insight into industry's capabilities.

Market research gathered from this industry day will support the requirements and contracting process for a multiple-award IDIQ contract vehicle to support the SPP mission of providing passenger and baggage security screening at select (SPP) Federal airports. The estimated value of the multiple-award IDIQ contract is anticipated to be $5.5 billion over a 10-year ordering period, inclusive of all task orders issued. The NAICS for this requirement is 488190. The draft Statement of Work for this requirement is attached hereto.

The room location will be provided to attendees who have registered per the instructions below. Due to space limitations, vendors will be limited to no more than two (2) personnel per company. Additional personnel will be denied access due to TSA's visitor access policy.

Small businesses are encouraged to attend.

Attendees shall RSVP by submitting, via a single point of contact, a list containing a maximum of two (2) personnel per company. The list shall include the attendee first and last name, company name, position, Social Security number, and date of birth using the format below (using a password protected Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet).

Attendees must submit their RSVP's to Lisa Warden-Garman (lisa.warden-garman@tsa.dhs.gov) via email no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on July 1, 2024.

If you plan on attending the event by vehicle, TSA recommends carpooling by using 1 car per contractor. Please fill out and return Attachment #2 entitled, TSA HQ Special Event Visitor Parking Request Form with your RSVP submission.

Each company may also submit general topics or questions relating to the SPP program or acquisition process to Mr. DeAndre Rawlings (deandre.rawlings@tsa.dhs.gov). TSA is not obligated to address each topic or question submitted; however, this information may be used to provide common themes for discussion. Additionally, vendors will be given the opportunity to ask questions at the industry day.

Background

Market research gathered from this industry day will support the requirements and contracting process for a multiple-award IDIQ contract vehicle to support the SPP mission of providing passenger and baggage security screening at select (SPP) Federal airports.

Work Details
The work details include providing security screening services and the dissemination of security information, including SOPs, at the airport. The Contractor shall immediately implement security screening-related direction, within the scope of work, upon receipt of such direction from the COR and/or FSD or designee during urgent and compelling security events. The Contractor shall maintain access to the SOP Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) database to obtain new or modified SOPs. TSA will coordinate with the Contractor the implementation of changes. The Contractor shall adhere to the staffing positions and activities as outlined in the applicable SOPs.
