Screening Bags for US Capitol Police - Sources Sought

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT for the United States Capitol Police (USCP). This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

As part of its market research, USCP is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the following supplies in large volumes:

Minimum 2 millimeters thick plastic zip top bags

Size: 12 x12

Kraft paper grocery bag

Approximate size - 6 5/16 W x 4 1/8D x 13 3/8H (does not have to be exactly this sizing; but USCP needs bags around this size, something that will hold about 2 quarts)

For either of the abovementioned bags, recycled bags are also acceptable. USCP requires approximately 500,000 bags per month to be used for security screenings on the Capitol Complex.

Please submit the following information:

1. Unit price of each bag
2. Any volume discount pricing
3. Information on what is currently available in vendor's inventory should the requested bags not be available
4. Approximate lead time/delivery period
5. How the bags are shipped? In cases or bundles?
6. How many bags per case/bundle?

The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information, budgetary, and planning purposes. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of USCP market research. No Request for Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to the Sources Sought are due no later than 12:00PM EST, Monday June 15, 2020.
