Updated 27 February 2025: Questions and answers, three painting photos and a revised Attachment 5 is attached. On the revised Attachment 5, a year was changed for both the barrier equipment and main control panel on one line. The change is underlined. The bolded and underlined entries in the second column of the revised Attachment 5 are related to questions and answers. All vendors are required to acknowledge receipt of these changes with submission of their quote. As a reminder the combined synopsis solicitation requirements must be followed. All other information remains the same.

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Vehicle Barrier Maintenance and Repair (VBM&R) Services at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB) Colorado. The purpose of the VBM&R Service is to provide preventive maintenance (PM), inspection, and repair for operational vehicle barriers at SSFB. The Contractor is required to perform all work in accordance with the PWS.

2. For additional information and details, please see the attached combined synopsis/solicitation, performance work statement (PWS), price schedule and amendment acknowledgement, wage determination, provisions and clauses, SSFB Equipment List, past performance questionnaire and past performance reference information.

3. Please note there were some changes made to the PWS since the sources sought was posted. Please read the entire solicitation package in the attachments.

Background
The Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB) in Colorado is seeking a contractor to provide Vehicle Barrier Maintenance and Repair (VBM&R) Services. The primary goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness of vehicle barriers through preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

4. Maintenance and Repair Log: Keeping detailed records of all maintenance activities, including dates, personnel involved, and equipment status.

6. Training: Offering annual training sessions for personnel on barrier operations and safety procedures.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will include an initial preventive maintenance service within 30 days, followed by quarterly services throughout the duration of the contract.
