Scale calibrations/Preventative & Corrective Maintenance   5

Background
The solicitation is for scale calibration and preventative & corrective maintenance services at various locations aboard the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms, California. The Hazardous Waste Management Branch (HWMB), Natural Resources Environmental Association (NREA) G-4 Directorate is required by law to ensure that preventive maintenance with calibration is performed on the scales. The contractor must provide certified weights and proper certification for the 11 scales listed in section 5.1.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform quarterly preventive maintenance (PM) service with calibrations on 11 weigh scales, including cleaning, inspecting, replacing worn parts, lubricating, testing, adjusting, and ensuring accurate weights and measurements. The contractor must coordinate all work with MCAGCC to meet requirements and adhere to guidelines set forth in 'California Code of Regulation Title 4, Division 9.' Additionally, the contractor must be available to perform emergency repairs within 24 hours of initial service call when notified Monday thru Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.
Corrective maintenance is classified as any maintenance required as a result of PM Service inspection and shall be done in a timely manner to ensure scales are in full working condition.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for each task order varies. For example, POP for CLIN 0001AA is from 01-JUL-2022 TO 30-JUN-2023, while POP for CLIN 4001AA is from 01-JUL-2026 TO 30-JUN-2027.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed aboard the MCAGCC installation in Twentynine Palms, CA. The contractor shall visit seven different locations aboard the installation for PM and emergency service calls.
