GENERAL INFORMATION

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice for commercial product/services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

1. This solicitation is being issued as a(n): Request for Quotation (RFQ).
2. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) Number, Effective Date: 2022-08, 3/16/2023
3. This acquisition is for a 100% Total Small Business set aside.
4. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 532490 - Scaffolding rental or leasing and Product or Service Code (PSC) W054 - Lease or Rental of Equipment- Prefabricated Structures and Scaffolding.
5. The size standard is $40 (millions of dollars). All qualified small businesses under this industry are encouraged to submit quotes.

REQUIREMENT INFORMATION

Description:

The Norfolk Naval Shipyard has a requirement for Scaffolding One (1) Year Rental with Installation and Removal Services for MTS-635 Submarine Inactivation.

Contract Line Item Details (Place of Performance/Acceptance/FOB Point):

• Place of Performance & Inspection/Acceptance: Norfolk Naval Shipyard Portsmouth, VA
• F.O.B.: Destination

Please include shipping charges into FOB Destination Quotes.

INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS

FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. As prescribed in FAR 12.301(b)(1), the following addendum is provided for this solicitation and hereby amends any language there in:

1. Questions may be submitted to the POC and Contracting Officer listed above no later than 3 April 2023, at 12:00 EST. Questions submitted after this date may not be answered.
2. Quotes in response to this solicitation must be submitted via email to the POC and Contracting Officer listed above no later than the established deadline.
3. Quotes must be valid through 30 May 2023.
4. All price quotations and contractor information must be submitted on Attachment 2 - Quote Sheet, and it must be filled in entirely.
