Background
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for the Commercial Broadband Satellite Program (CBSP) Satellite Services Contract (CSSC II). The contract aims to provide worldwide commercial satellite communications (COMSATCOM) services for the U.S. Navy and Military Sealift Command. The contract will be awarded as a single-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity(ID/IQ), with a 3-year base and additional option years. The Navy’s CSSC program requires satellite services in C, Ku, Ka, and X-band to deliver global connectivity for the U.S. Navy Fleet through designated points of presence.

Work Details
The contract will involve providing satellite services in C, Ku, Ka, and X-band to deliver global connectivity for the U.S. Navy Fleet through designated points of presence.
The CSSC infrastructure converges mobile and fixed satellite transceivers on maritime, airborne and ground platforms, as well as commercial teleport services, backhaul connectivity, operations, monitoring and control.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to have a 10-year period of performance, with a 3-year base period and three two-year options and one one-year option.
