SATOC IDIQ Renovation, Repair and New Construction at Fort Novosel, Alabama   2

Background
This solicitation is for an 8(a) Sole Source Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) issued by the U.S. Army Engineer District, Mobile. The contract aims to support renovation, repair, and new construction requirements at Fort Novosel, Alabama.

The goal of this contract is to provide a full range of construction services efficiently and effectively while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will perform all services defined in the scope of work for each task order awarded under this IDIQ. Tasks may include:
- new construction
- repair of facilities
- incidental design for various types of facilities such as administrative buildings, academic facilities, maintenance shops, physical fitness centers, lodging facilities (barracks and dormitories), food service facilities, medical facilities, public safety structures, airfield structures (hangars and control towers), firing ranges, and environmental compliance tasks related to soil management.

The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and adhere to established schedules for each task order. Work will require extensive knowledge of construction practices and may involve urgent requirements that necessitate compressed schedules. The contractor must also ensure minimal interference with daily operations at impacted facilities.

Period of Performance
The contract has a three-year ordering period during which task orders can be issued as needed.
