SAS Analytics Pro Maintenance

The Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory (NSMRL) has a requirement to renew the maintenance for SAS Analytics Pro software for site #922199. The software is used to support the Undersea Health Epidemiology Research Program's studies at NSMRL. The maintenance renewal includes SAS Analytics Pro - 1 User PC, Windows 64 bit, and is necessary to ensure the continued support of the research studies. The contract includes a base year from May 1, 2021, to April 30, 2022, with four option years and a six-month extension period. The place of performance is at NSMRL in Groton, CT.

The contractor, Executive Information Systems (EIS), LLC, will provide the SAS Analytics Pro software maintenance for site #922199. The contractor employees are required to possess the minimum qualifications required by industry standards for providing the software and services. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary equipment, parts, and supplies. The Government Technical Point of Contact (GTPOC) is Linda M. Hughes.

The contract includes options for maintenance renewal for each subsequent year, with the option years running from May 1 to April 30. There is also a six-month extension period from May 1 to October 30 in the final year of the contract. Invoices for goods received or services rendered under this contract shall be submitted electronically through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). The contractor will have their cage code activated and register to use WAWF for invoice submission.

This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the Multiple Award Schedule Program, and EIS is identified as the exclusive authorized reseller of SAS products and services. Renewing the SAS software maintenance is necessary due to its compatibility with existing clinical trial databases and the inability of other software to meet the Government's requirements. Failure to renew the maintenance would result in an inability to receive critical software updates and patches. The SAS software code is proprietary, and no other known source can satisfy the Government's need at this time.
