Santiam Canyon Sites Portable Toilets

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Northwest Oregon District has issued a solicitation for portable toilet services at Santiam Canyon Sites located in Mill City and Lyons, Oregon. This requirement is part of their mission to provide accessible facilities for public recreation areas. The contract aims to ensure the availability and maintenance of portable toilets to enhance visitor experience at these recreation sites.

Work Details
The contractor will provide three (3) accessible and one (1) standard portable pit toilets to the following locations: Fishermen’s Bend Recreation Site, Canyon Creek Recreation Site, and Elkhorn Recreation Site.

Specific tasks include:
- Supply one (1) accessible and one (1) standard portable toilet at Fishermen’s Bend, with designated placements indicated by flagging.
- Supply one (1) accessible portable toilet at Canyon Creek, placed on the north side of the parking lot.
- Supply one (1) accessible portable toilet at Elkhorn, placed on the east side of the parking lot.
- All toilets must be pumped, cleaned, and restocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer weekly. Evidence of servicing inside the portable toilets is required. It is preferable that toilets include a urinal to minimize messes.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base contract is from February 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026. There are four optional one-year periods following the base year.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Santiam Canyon Sites in Mill City and Lyons, Oregon.
