Santa Rosa Janitorial Services

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Albuquerque District, has awarded a firm-fixed-price* sole source contract to an 8(a) Small Business. In accordance with FAR 5.705(b), please note that this contract action was not awarded competitively. The rationale for this non-competitive action is that the requirement was directed as a sole source award pursuant to Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, as amended (15 U.S.C. 637(a)), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19.8, and the current Partnership Agreement between the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of Defense.

This is a follow-on requirement to a previously awarded 8(a) contract supporting the USACE Santa Rosa Dam Project. The project site includes one Administration area, an Overlook Facility/Comfort Station, and two walking trails, each with its own parking area.

The contractor will provide year-round janitorial services in accordance with the established cleaning schedule. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing these services. Such service providers shall be accountable solely to the prime contractor, who, in turn, remains fully responsible to the Government.
