National Shrine project to provide Full section Renovation to include Headstone Raise and realign and Full Turf Renovation to bring headstones into compliance with OAI Standards and Measures
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is awarding a firm-fixed price construction contract. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, material, and equipment necessary to provide Full section Turf Renovation, to include Headstone Raise to bring headstones into compliance with OAI Standards and Measures. This Project has a combination of Base and Option CLINS. If Option CLINS are not obligated at time of award, they may be awarded at a later date within the Base period of performance. See SOW for details Period of Performance for Base: 365 after Notice To Proceed. Additional days will be granted if options are awarded at a later date. Once digital copies of bonds are accepted by the Contracting Officer, a pre-construction conference shall be held and a notice to proceed shall be issued before on-site work begins. VAAR Clause 852.219-77 is incorporated into this contract, VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) Class Deviation to Implement Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Certification Requirement VAAR Part 819 and Part 852 (VIEWS 03923953), pursuant to the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8127 Contractor shall complete the certification document and return a signed copy along with this contract. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Authority, 38 USC 8127(d).
