Sand and Repaint Basketball Court, Bldg 1715, Cp Casey

Background
The solicitation is for the sanding and repainting of a basketball court located at Building 1715, Camp Casey. The work involves providing all labor, tools, equipment, supplies, and any other resources necessary to accomplish the scope of work contained in the drawings and specifications.

Work Details
The project includes various construction tasks such as replacing concrete ramp and sidewalk, restoring sodding with topsoil, sanding and varnishing the gymnasium floor, cleaning and repainting basketball and volleyball court wooden floor markings, making wall openings for new doors, replacing existing doors and frames with new ones, replacing exterior canopy and lights, relocating exit signs and switches, among other architectural work.

The technical detail specifications include standards for administrative requirements, submittal procedures, safety requirements, quality control, temporary construction facilities and controls, project identification, closeout submittals, operation and maintenance data. Special conditions include material approval submittal requirements and environmental requirements in the contract.

Period of Performance
The contract requires the work to be completed within 180 calendar days including 150 days for procurement of US origin materials after the notice to proceed (NPT) is issued.
