Background
The USDA Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region, is issuing this solicitation for janitorial services at the San Jacinto Ranger District. The mission of the agency is to manage and protect the nation's forests and grasslands, ensuring their health and sustainability. The goal of this contract is to provide routine and periodic custodial services for an office environment located at 54270 Pine Crest Rd, Idyllwild, CA 92549.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, cleaning products, and some specialized equipment to perform custodial services consisting of routine and periodic janitorial work.

The main building consists of approximately 2400 square feet of usable space. Services include:
- Bi-weekly janitorial services every other Tuesday.
- Maintenance of resilient tile floors with a non-skid floor wax.
- Bi-annual shampooing of carpets with specific procedures for stain removal and drying.
- Ensuring that personal or monetary items found are turned in to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- Reporting any hazardous conditions or maintenance needs immediately to the COR.
- Establishing a quality control plan to ensure compliance with performance standards.
- Providing adequate personnel who meet safety and competency standards.

Period of Performance
Base Year: September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2025; Option Year 1: September 1, 2025 – August 31, 2026.
