Sam Rayburn Memorial HVAC Rooftop Unit Replacement

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of the HVAC Rooftop Unit at the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are in place to support the facility's operations and enhance the comfort of its occupants.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for replacing the existing HVAC Rooftop Unit (Package Unit) and connecting it to the Apogee system as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The work includes ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards, maintaining unobstructed access for emergency services, and reporting any damages caused during the work.

The contractor must also ensure that all personnel present a professional appearance consistent with government standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period following award, with key dates including a site visit scheduled for July 14, 2026, and a deadline for technical questions by July 21, 2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center located at 1201 E. Ninth Street, Bonham, TX 75418.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBC) and are required to have appropriate contractor licensing. Additionally, bidders must provide bid/payment/performance bonds as part of their submission.
